About Us
It is believed that the time has come to protect the interests of the growing number of trained nurses, health visitors, midwives, nurses, dais, and trained dais, as well as their clients, and that this can best be accomplished through registration and proper control of such nurses, health visitors, midwives, nurses, dais, and trained dais. Furthermore, registration provides an incentive to participate in training, which promotes professional standards.
It is thus proposed to enact measures along the lines of the law in force in Great Britain, where there is a Council that deals with various issues relating to nurses, such as the training examination, registration, and so on of nurses, as well as their removal from the register maintained under the Council’s authority. The English Act also prohibits any unregistered person from practicing nursing and penalizes the use of any title or name implying that the nurse is a registered nurse by an unregistered nurse.
